Financial Synergy powers up new office to meet demand for new Managed Services Offering

This week we unveiled more details about our growth and confirmed we have opened a new office in Wollongong, NSW. Home for our recently launched Managed Services division, the latest office is responsible for the strategic delivery of outsourced software and solutions to our clients around the country.
And it already has a purpose and you can feel the buzz. We are currently implementing support for our first three Managed Services clients and this includes moving an existing administration client to the division, onboarding a brand new fund for an administration client and implementing a managed services offering for an entirely new fund client we announced earlier this year.
Building our new team
Our new Wollongong office is headed by Lynne Dhami, Head of Managed Services and we have already started the build out of the local team with some existing faces and new business and technical specialists. The Wollongong team will also be supported by a team of 10 managed services experts operating from our corporate HQ in Melbourne.
It’s an exciting mix of locations and skill sets and we believe we will be creating a dynamic working environment that will see additional headcount added to the Wollongong office location over the coming 12 months.
Delivering a new service model
The focus for the team will be to provide clients with seamless access, ongoing benchmarks and support for our AcurityTM platform in a software-as-a-service model. We announced this earlier this year and our new operating Managed Service model ensures clients have access to the latest features as our innovation program continues to deliver new functionality, legislative updates and user interface improvements.
A key focus will be adding end user friendliness initiatives to Acurity including embedded instructional videos, plus enhanced procedures and testing processes. These are all part of the current programs being developed by the Managed Services team.
I believe that our commitment to our latest office location in Wollongong underscores not only the projects at hand, but also is in line with our goal for our clients to leverage the benefits of our latest platform transformations and innovations.
In effect we have unleashed a full approach to innovating both the technology model and benchmark for innovation for administrators and I do believe this will create the next wave of business transformation opportunities for our clients and partners. Funds and administrators can move away from an endless cycle of IT upgrades and support.
